Plan Pomodoro study sessions.
스케줄 요약
Overview
Plan your study sessions using the Pomodoro Technique. Enter your total study time and the calculator will determine the number of 25-minute focus sessions, 5-minute breaks, and long break timings.
Formula
1 Pomodoro = 25 min focus + 5 min break (30 min total). Long break (15-30 min) every 4 Pomodoros. Pomodoros needed = Total study time (min) / 25. Example: 3 hours → 180 / 25 ≈ 8 Pomodoros.
How to Use
- 1Enter your total study goal time (hours or minutes).
- 2Set focus duration (default 25 min) and break duration (default 5 min).
- 3Set long break interval (default every 4 Pomodoros) and duration (default 15 min).
- 4Click 'Calculate' to see your full session plan.
Tips
- ✔If 25 minutes feels too long at first, start with 15 minutes and gradually increase.
- ✔Put your phone out of sight during focus periods.
- ✔Use break time for light activities like stretching or drinking water.
- ✔Track your daily Pomodoro count to monitor your study output.
FAQ
Q. What is the Pomodoro Technique?
Developed by Francesco Cirillo in the 1980s, it is named after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer he used. It involves 25-minute focused work sessions followed by 5-minute breaks, with a 15-30 minute long break every 4 sessions. Short bursts of focus improve productivity.
Q. What if 25 minutes is too short or too long?
Adjust to your preference. If you can focus longer, try 50 min focus + 10 min break. If focus is difficult, start with 15 min focus + 3 min break and gradually increase.
Q. What if I get interrupted during a Pomodoro?
For external interruptions (calls, questions), note them down and handle them during break. For internal distractions (thoughts), write them on paper and refocus. A broken Pomodoro is technically invalid and should be restarted.
