FAQ

Q. What is CEFR?

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages classifies language ability into 6 levels from A1 (beginner) to C2 (mastery). Developed by the Council of Europe, it is used globally for comparing language proficiency.

Q. What does each CEFR level mean?

A1: Basic phrases. A2: Everyday communication. B1: Travel and work basics. B2: Fluent conversation with native speakers. C1: Academic and professional fluency. C2: Near-native proficiency.

Q. Can I directly compare TOEIC and TOEFL scores?

TOEIC focuses on business English (listening/reading), while TOEFL tests academic English across 4 skills (reading, listening, speaking, writing). Direct comparison is difficult, but converting both to CEFR levels allows approximate comparison.
